SMS Terms & Consent

Cobble Commerce, Inc. (“Cobble”) operates an online ordering platform for restaurants and local food businesses. Cobble sends transactional order-status text messages on behalf of those merchants from a shared Cobble phone number. Every message identifies the specific merchant your order is with.

Program description

The Cobble Order Alerts program sends SMS notifications about orders placed through Cobble-powered restaurant and food business websites. Messages are sent by Cobble on behalf of the merchant you ordered from. Messages are transactional only — no marketing, promotional, or advertising texts are sent under this program.

  • Order confirmed — your order has been received and is being prepared
  • Ready for pickup — your order is ready at the counter
  • Delivery updates — driver assigned, order on the way, order delivered
  • Order cancelled or refund issued

How you opt in

Consent is collected at checkout on the merchant’s Cobble-powered ordering page. When you enter your mobile number, the following disclosure appears directly below the phone number field:

The mobile number field is entirely optional — customers can place an order without it. When a number is provided, an unchecked-by-default checkbox appears so the customer must actively opt in to receive SMS. Consent is never a condition of purchase.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your order activity. Customers typically receive 1–3 messages per order (pickup) or 2–5 messages per order (delivery). No recurring or scheduled messages are sent.

How to opt out

To stop messages

Reply STOP to any Cobble message. You will receive one confirmation text and no further messages will be sent.

Privacy
